grüntaler9 is bäck with a new series of performative live events named APOTEKA. We start on Monday 18 April with Esther Neff.
The Shape of the Inconstruable Question
Wir wollen dort, wo wir endlich leben, nicht einsam sein (We do not want to be lonely where we finally live)
°°From 3-6pm we will gather to collectively (re)write a calling forth, or “canticle,” (a hymn or chant) beginning with an excerpt from Ernst Bloch’s The Spirit of Utopia. All are welcome.
°°°At 7pm we will collectively and publicly read/chant our re-made text or “canticle” aloud.
°°°°After the reading, participants will also be welcome to receive free tattoos of one drop of honey or triangle and continue casual company in the space.
Our re-writings may involve additions from our own poetic imaginations and from the suggested texts below. A hope ritual. Queer/radical orientations towards eudaimonia.
A collective writing of missions towards the miraculous, drawing up and revoking sentences, what part do words play in the “incipiently brightened question” of hope?
